Paul E. Burk, D.O., F.O.C.O.O.

Dr. Paul E. Burk has been in private practice as an Ear, Nose, and Throat Specialist for over 30 years. He specializes in treating diseases of the sinus, allergies, ear problems, and throat. He is also a teaching physician, training residents in the specialty since 1987. Over 25 physicians have graduated from this program under Dr. Burk’s leadership. He was one of the first physicians in the St. Louis area to be trained in Balloon Sinuplasty and has since performed more than 400 of these minimally invasive procedures.

Dr. Burk is board-certified in Head and Neck Surgery by the American Osteopathic Colleges of Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. He has served for 20 years within that organization and is an active leadership member. He has occupied every office of the Board of Governors, and was elected President in 2013-14. He has also received the Presidential Award and the Board of Governors Award twice. Dr. Burk received his degree from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency in Otorhinolaryngology and Oro/Facial Plastic Surgery at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Rutgers Division, John F. Kennedy Memorial Hospital in 1987. In his spare time, he enjoys fishing, golf, and spending time with his wife and daughter.
